Sales and Lease Consultant

The Sales & Lease Consultant is responsible for promoting and ensuring high customer satisfaction with every client, as well as generating sales department revenue through the sale of vehicles and promotion of business products

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • To promote and complete the sale of vehicles in an appropriate, professional and ethical manner with the highest regard to exemplary customer service
  • Articulate vehicle selection, attributes, model options, features, purchase and finance options, and dealership policies/services
  • Complete all sales documentation in a comprehensive and accurate manner
  • To service all allocated sales inquiries in a prompt and effective fashion
  • Remain educated on all product knowledge, finance options, promotions, value-add products/services, servicing plans, and industry trends
  • Keeping the showroom clean, neat, current, stocked, and safely displayed
  • Actively promoting and developing new business
  • Compiles lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads
  • Maintains customer profiles in DealerSocket
  • Consistently following up with customers and maintain rapport with customers and managers
  • Communicate effectively with customers and managers
  • Mandatory completion of walk around, road test and follow up process as outlined by management
  • Follow all Trotman Auto Group policies and procedures as outlined in Employee Handbook and management

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 6 months in a sales role
  • Provincial sales license preferred but not required
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills with the desire to exceed expectations
  • Ability to effectively respond to and meet the needs of a diverse client base
  • Computer Skills – MS Office applications, Outlook, Dealer Socket
  • Valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract

Body Shop Technician

About The Role

The Body Shop Technician contributes to the operational efficiency of the body shop by repairing collision damage as per estimates and Comox Valley Dodge guidelines, ensuring that our customer visit meets and exceeds expectations.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Comply with Comox Valley Dodge policies, along with local, provincial and federal laws including those governing the rules of the road, and health and safety
  • Diagnose and repair collision damaged vehicles
  • Report additional repairs to Shop Foreman or Body Shop Manager
  • Use appropriate tools and equipment to perform tasks
  • Assist in housekeeping of the shop and keep own bay clean
  • Other duties as required

Qualifications:

  • B.C. Certificate of Qualification in auto body repair
  • Desire to exceed customer expectations through a “Fix it right the first time” attitude
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask
  • Ability to effectively respond to and meet the needs of a diverse client base
  • Vast auto body product knowledge
  • Valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract

Body Shop Manager

Are you interested in joining an Automotive Dealer group with a strong reputation of success and a great team attitude? Our Comox Valley Dodge location is looking for an experienced Automotive Body Shop Manager to join our team.

Position Summary
The Body Shop Manager directs the work flow of the body shop and ensures quality standards. They maintain customer satisfaction standards, while containing expenses.

Responsibilities

  • Manages the operating budget for the body shop
  • Manage customer expectations
  • Work is performed efficiently and accurately
  • Ensure all tools and equipment are used safely and accurately
  • Respond to safety concerns immediately
  • Perform as a mentor

Qualifications

  • Prior Body Shop Management experience
  • Prior Body Shop Estimator function experience on repairs
  • Personal and professional integrity
  • Clean and valid driver’s license
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • The ability to communicate in English fluently (written and verbal)
  • Excellent customer service skills with the desire to exceed expectations
  • Ability to effectively respond to and meet the needs of a diverse client base
  • Computer Skills – MS Office applications, Outlook
