Driver Ergonomics

For most Performance vehicles of Crossfire's calibre, comfort and ergonomics take a back seat to performance. With this stunning Chrysler offering, this is simply not the case, because everything related to driver comfort was addressed.

The dual zone semi automatic temperature control monitors the individual temperature settings of both the driver and passenger – separately and semi-automatically – so you can focus on the more important task of driving.

The Crossfire Climate Control system:
Automatically switches to recirculation mode when the outside temperature is above 30°C (86°F)
Includes an electrostatic air-filtration system that literally helps clean the air around you as you drive (Limited)
Features a residual heating mode that allows the heater to continue warming the vehicle interior for up to thirty minutes after the engine has been shut off

Rear Wheel Drive

Rear-wheel drive provides excellent handling and precise movement that enhances Crossfire's manners on the road. It separates driving and steering wheels, making it easier to steer and provides improved weight distribution. Under heavy acceleration on dry roads, weight transfers to the rear wheels, which increases traction.

The standard Electronic Stability Program (ESP™)* aids the driver in maintaining vehicle directional stability. It monitors factors including steering angle, turning rate and lateral acceleration to determine vehicle behaviour. Once the system determines that vehicle behaviour differs from the driver's intended course, ESP* will do whatever can be done, within the limits of available traction, to keep the car on course.

With Electronic Throttle Control (ETC), there is no physical connection between the pedal and the throttle. Adaptive control recognizes driving style and adapts accordingly
